COSMIC MESSAGE
These reflection nebulae, NGC 1977, NGC 1975, and NGC 1973, are found along Orion's sword. They are often overlooked in favor of the nearby Orion Nebula, but they are also part of Orion's giant molecular cloud. Located about 1,500 light-years away, these nebulae are dominated by the characteristic blue glow of starlight reflecting off interstellar dust.
