HR 4796A: Not Saturn

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

This image shows a large, striking ring system around the young, Vega-like star HR 4796A, about 200 light-years from Earth. Composed of dusty debris from colliding planetesimals, the ring is about 17 AU wide and orbits the star at a radius of 70 AU, roughly twice the orbit of Pluto. It offers a glimpse into a much larger version of Saturn's rings.
