Pluto: The Frozen Planet

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

This Hubble Space Telescope image from 1994 shows Pluto and its largest moon, Charon. Pluto's eccentric orbit sometimes brings it inside Neptune's path, but on February 11, 1999, it crossed back out, becoming the most distant known planet once again. Pluto is smaller than any other planet and remains largely a mystery.
