COSMIC MESSAGE
The Perseid Meteor Shower is one of the most active and well-known meteor showers each year. It occurs when Earth passes through the debris trail left by Comet Swift-Tuttle. As these small particles enter Earth's atmosphere, they burn up, creating bright streaks of light called meteors. This image captures one such meteor over the Anza-Borrego Desert.
