COSMIC MESSAGE
Neptune has never looked so clear in infrared light. This image was taken through Earth's normally blurry atmosphere, using adaptive optics to correct for distortions. Neptune is the eighth planet from the Sun, almost four times Earth's diameter, and radiates about twice as much energy as it receives.
