COSMIC MESSAGE

Perched atop a dormant Hawaiian volcano, the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope (CFHT) is a 3.6-meter eye on the night sky. Unlike the human eye, which captures light in fractions of a second, the CFHT can collect light for hours. This long exposure allows faint sources to become visible. The Earth's rotation during these observations creates star trails, showing the apparent movement of the stars across the sky.
