NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

The first images ever taken of a double asteroid. 90 Antiope was once thought to be a single object, but these images show it is actually two asteroids, each 50 miles wide and separated by about 100 miles. They orbit each other in the main asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. This eight-frame animation captures their mutual orbit.
