Pangea Ultima: Earth in 250 Million Years?

NASA APOD · C. R. Scotese (U. Texas at Arlington), PALEOMAP
COSMIC MESSAGE

Our planet's surface is always changing. About 250 million years ago, all the landmasses were clustered together in one supercontinent called Pangea. In another 250 million years, scientists project the plates will again reposition themselves into a single landmass, Pangea Ultima. This simulation shows what our home world might look like.
