VDB 142 in Cepheus

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

A collection of dust and gas nebulae graces the high constellation of Cepheus in the Northern Milky Way. This close-up highlights stars embedded in cosmic clouds. Near the faint central star, dust clouds reflect starlight, creating the bluish reflection nebula VDB 142. The area's bright reddish emission nebulae indicate the presence of atomic hydrogen clouds.
