COSMIC MESSAGE

From a perspective in Norway, an aurora forms a luminous ring above the trees. Gusting solar winds and charged particles from the Sun made for stormy space weather in early October. The curtains of green light, actually 100 kilometers above the ground, seemed to hover wraithlike.
