COSMIC MESSAGE

The Pleiades, also known as the Seven Sisters or M45, is the most famous star cluster in the sky and visible without binoculars. It contains over 3000 stars, is about 400 light years away, and 13 light years across. Blue reflection nebulae, made of dust reflecting light from the bright cluster stars, are evident in the photograph.
