The Bubble Nebula from NOAO

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

The Bubble Nebula, NGC 7635, is a shell of gas pushed out by the strong stellar wind of its central star, BD+602522. Right next to it is a giant molecular cloud, which is holding back the expansion of the bubble. The cloud is heated by the intense radiation from the central star, creating dense, glowing regions.
