Stephan's Quintet is a group of galaxies about 300 million light-years away in Pegasus. This composite image combines optical data in yellow with X-ray data from the Chandra Observatory in blue. The X-rays come from gas heated by the collision of these galaxies, which spans over 200,000 light-years.
