COSMIC MESSAGE
The Moon slides through Earth's shadow this Saturday night or Sunday morning, depending on your location. This will give skygazers in the Americas, Europe, Africa, and western Asia a chance to see a total lunar eclipse. The total phase of the eclipse will be brief, lasting only about 25 minutes. This animation shows the full Moon moving into Earth's shadow.
