Comet Bradfield is passing the Sun today. The SOHO LASCO instrument captured this image yesterday, showing the comet and its dust tail as an elongated white streak. The Sun is blocked from view in the center of the image. Comet C/2004 F4 (Bradfield) has brightened dramatically as it neared the Sun.
