Comet Hale-Bopp Over Indian Cove

NASA APOD · Wally Pacholka (Astropics) Wally Pacholka
COSMIC MESSAGE

Comet Hale-Bopp, the Great Comet of 1997, was a significant sight. This month, two other comets have a chance of putting on a memorable sky show, although most of it will be for sky gazers in Earth's southern hemisphere. Both comets are already visible to the unaided eye from there.
