On May 5, 2004, a lunar eclipse was visible from Sydney, Australia. As the Moon set, it passed behind Sydney's cityscape, creating this striking image. The nearly eclipsed lunar disk is seen next to the beacon and lights of Centerpoint Tower. A star is also visible near the Moon, adding to the celestial display.
