COSMIC MESSAGE
Elliptical galaxy M87 is much larger than average, residing near the center of the Virgo Cluster. It has an unusually high number of globular clusters, visible as faint spots surrounding its bright core. M87 is a peculiar type of elliptical galaxy, differing from our own Milky Way.
