What colors are Saturn's rings? Images from the Cassini spacecraft, now orbiting Saturn, show that different rings have slightly different colors. The rings reflect sunlight, and their particles are mostly water-ice, sometimes shaded by an unknown darker dirt. These subtle differences in brightness and color are visible in this natural color image.
