Pastel Planet, Triple Eclipse

Three shadows fall on Jupiter's cloud tops in this infrared image from the Hubble Space Telescope. Jupiter's moons Ganymede, Callisto, and Io are all eclipsing the planet at once, a relatively rare event. Io itself is visible as a white spot, with Ganymede a bluish point above and right of it. The giant planet's signature bands are clearly visible in false color.
