Epimetheus is a small, irregularly shaped moon of Saturn, only about 116 kilometers across. Its cratered surface is highlighted by shadows in this close-up from the Cassini spacecraft. Epimetheus shares its orbit with another similar-sized moon, Janus, with the two occasionally swapping positions.
