“Tornado and Rainbow Over Kansas” is copyrighted by Eric Nguyen (Oklahoma U.), www.mesoscale.ws. NASA has permission to show it and we don't, so it isn't on this card.
See it on NASA's siteLast June in Kansas, storm chaser Eric Nguyen captured this image of a tornado descending from a dark storm cloud. The scene is made even more dramatic by the presence of a rainbow, formed as sunlight reflects off raindrops. The tornado appears to touch down right at the end of the rainbow, creating a surreal and powerful natural tableau.
