Solar System Object Larger than Pluto Discovered

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

A faint, slow-moving dot, designated 2003 UB313, has been discovered far out in the Solar System. It is nearly 100 times the Earth-Sun distance, more than twice Pluto's average distance. Its brightness suggests it is at least as large as Pluto, assuming it is not completely reflective. This object sparked a debate about the definition of a planet.
