COSMIC MESSAGE
Sometimes air moves vertically, especially when wind flows over mountains. This can stack clouds into striking lenticular shapes. The dry air at the top of an oscillation can be stratified in moisture content. This forms distinct cloud layers where the air becomes saturated.
