COSMIC MESSAGE
Crepuscular rays are shadows cast by clouds near the horizon, making columns of air appear dark. Here, over Utah, both the dark, shadowed rays and the bright, sunlit rays are visible. It is a common atmospheric phenomenon, but rarely seen with such dramatic effect.
