The Tadpoles of IC 410

NASA APOD · Ken Crawford (Rancho Del Sol Observatory)
COSMIC MESSAGE

This close-up shows part of the faint emission nebula IC 410 in striking false-colors. It also shows two remarkable structures: the 'tadpoles' of IC 410. This image is a composite of images taken through narrow band filters, tracing sulfur, hydrogen, and oxygen atoms. The nebula surrounds NGC 1893, a young galactic cluster.
