COSMIC MESSAGE
Orion's Belt is iconic, but this view removes the stars to highlight the nebulae. The three bright belt stars, Mintaka, Alnilam, and Alnitak, are still visible. Around them, glowing gas and dark dust form shapes like the Horsehead and Flame Nebulae, both near Alnitak. This deep image shows the intricate structures of this star-forming region.
