Only Mercury is missing from this gathering of Solar System planets in the early evening sky. Bright Mars is on the far left, while Jupiter, Saturn, and Venus are also visible. The fainter planets Uranus and Neptune are marked along the ecliptic plane. A young crescent Moon, partly lit by earthshine, is close to the western horizon.
