COSMIC MESSAGE
The Cat's Paw Nebula, also known as NGC 6334, is an emission nebula in Scorpius. Its red color comes from an abundance of ionized hydrogen atoms, energized by newly formed stars. This vast star-forming region is about 5,500 light-years away. Stars nearly ten times the mass of our Sun have been born here in just the past few million years.
