Last Saturday, a Minotaur rocket launched into low Earth orbit from NASA's Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. This wide-angle view from Alexandria, Virginia, shows the rocket climbing into the dawn sky. The exhaust plume twists below the rocket, with the waning crescent Moon visible in the upper right.
