Mountains of Titan

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

The Cassini spacecraft's infrared camera peered through Titan's thick, hazy atmosphere. It captured this view of the tallest mountains ever seen on Saturn's largest moon. The false-color mosaic shows a mountain range about 150 kilometers long and 1.5 kilometers high. Bright deposits along the ridges are thought to be methane snow.
