These three ancient impact craters, Ptolemaeus, Alphonsus, and Arzachel, are located on the northeastern shores of Mare Nubium, the Moon's Sea of Clouds. This detailed mosaic shows their central peaks and slumped walls, emphasized by shadows. The Straight Wall, a 110-kilometer-long fault, is also visible in this region.
