COSMIC MESSAGE
The International Space Station tracked across the night sky above Hombressen, Germany, on May 12, 2008. An astronomer recorded this sharp video with a small telescope from 360 kilometers away. The station's truss structure, nearly 90 meters long, is visible with its solar arrays. The ATV Jules Verne was docked with the station at the time.
