COSMIC MESSAGE
Sometimes the Moon moves directly in front of a planet, an event called an occultation. This image captures the moment Jupiter reappeared from behind our Moon. The Moon was in its third quarter, two days before the new Moon. At this phase, only a small portion of the Moon's sunlit half is visible from Earth.
