Jupiter's Three Red Spots

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

Jupiter's Great Red Spot has been visible for centuries. In 2006, a second red storm appeared, formed from merging white ovals. Now, the Hubble Space Telescope has captured a third red spot, also born from a smaller white storm. All three are visible in this image, recorded on May 9 and 10.
