Saturn's moon Prometheus creates unusual light and dark streamers in the planet's F-Ring. Prometheus orbits just inside the F-ring, venturing into its inner edge every 15 hours. Its gravity pulls on the closest ring particles, creating not only a stream of bright particles but also a dark ribbon where particles have been displaced.
