NASA APOD · Rogelio Bernal Andreo
COSMIC MESSAGE

This complex of dusty reflection nebulae in Scorpius suggests a horsehead in profile. The star near the eye of the horse, embedded in blue reflection nebula IC 4592, is over 400 light-years away. At that distance, the view spans nearly 40 light-years, much larger than the Horsehead Nebula in Orion.
