Planetary nebula Abell 7 is a faint, spherical cloud of gas, about eight light-years across, located 1,800 light-years away in the constellation Lepus. It's the remnant of a star that shed its outer layers, revealing complex details within its expanse. Hydrogen emission gives parts of the nebula a reddish hue.
