Moonbow and Rainbows Over Patagonia

This movie captures a rare moonbow, along with several rainbows, over Patagonia in Chile. Moonbows are created by moonlight, just as rainbows are formed by sunlight. Since moonlight is reflected sunlight and much dimmer, moonbows are far less common and harder to see. The subtle movement of the rainbows is due to the Sun's changing position in the sky.
