Stephan's Quintet, a group of galaxies, is captured here by the upgraded Hubble Space Telescope. Four of these galaxies are about 300 million light-years away and are gravitationally interacting, distorting each other into stretched shapes. The fifth galaxy is much closer and merely appears in the same field of view. These interactions will eventually lead to a merger into one larger galaxy.
