This scene would be beautiful even without the comet. The sunrise sky is a deep blue, with faint stars, and a pleasing tan near the horizon. The foreground hills of eastern Slovakia are green, with the Zadňa hura and Veľká hora hills in the distance. Venus, on the right, has a colorful atmospheric corona. But what attracts the eye is Comet Nishimura.
