Tethys Behind Titan

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

This image from the Cassini spacecraft shows Tethys, one of Saturn's moons, slipping behind the atmosphere-shrouded Titan. Tethys, heavily cratered, is about 2 million kilometers distant from Cassini. The largest crater on Tethys, Odysseus, is easily visible. Titan shows its thick, opaque orange lower atmosphere and an unusual upper layer of blue-tinted haze.
