Pauli Exclusion Principle: Why You Don't Implode

NASA APOD · Andrew Truscott & Randall Hulet (Rice U.)
COSMIC MESSAGE

The Pauli Exclusion Principle explains why matter does not simply bunch up. This principle keeps neutron stars and white dwarf stars from imploding, and it also prevents people from imploding. It states that identical fermions cannot occupy the same place at the same time with the same orientation.
