COSMIC MESSAGE

The Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex is one of the closest star-forming regions to us, only 400 light years away. It's a colorful mix of red emission nebulae and dark dust lanes. The bright yellow star Antares, a red supergiant, is also visible in this wide field view.
