Too Close to a Black Hole

COSMIC MESSAGE
What would you see near a black hole? This computer-generated image shows how gravity distorts light, creating unusual visual effects. Every star in the normal sky appears at least twice, once on each side of the black hole. Close to the black hole, light from every direction bends around it, allowing you to see the entire sky at once.
