Eclipsing the Sun

NASA APOD · Thierry Legault
COSMIC MESSAGE

On January 4, 2011, skywatchers across Europe, North Africa, and Central Asia witnessed a partial solar eclipse. Photographer Thierry Legault traveled to Oman to capture a rare double eclipse. From there, both the Moon and the International Space Station could be seen in silhouette, crossing the Sun.
