Six Worlds for Kepler-11

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

Six planets orbit Kepler-11, a star similar to our Sun located 2,000 light-years away in Cygnus. Data from NASA's Kepler spacecraft led to this discovery. Five of these planets orbit closer to their star than Mercury orbits our Sun, with periods ranging from 10 to 47 days. All six are larger than Earth and are likely mixtures of rock and gas.
