Hanny's Voorwerp, or "Hanny's Object," is an enormous, mysterious cloud, about the size of our Milky Way Galaxy. This Hubble Space Telescope view shows it glowing strongly in ionized oxygen, below spiral galaxy IC 2497 in Leo Minor. It is likely part of a tidal tail, illuminated by a quasar that once resided in the galaxy's core.
