Moon and Venus Over Switzerland
NASA APOD · David Kaplan
COSMIC MESSAGE
A morning sky over eastern Switzerland can be serene and surreal. This view, taken before sunrise, shows quiet clouds lit from beneath by the village of Trübbach. Mittlerspitz mountain looms dramatically on the upper left, above the town of Balzers, Liechtenstein. Peaks from the Alps are visible on the far right, below a freshly risen Moon and Venus.
