Three Arches Above Utah

NASA APOD · Brad Goldpaint (Goldpaint Photography)
COSMIC MESSAGE

Arches National Park in Utah features the Double Arch, with its two sandstone spans. In this night photo, a third arch appears in the distance: the sweeping band of our Milky Way galaxy. The Milky Way appears as a band because we are inside its spiral disk.
